Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers a flexible, project-based opportunity with stores nationwide, including merchandising, resets, stock, and reporting via mobile devices.

You will select projects fitting your availability and earn competitive pay per assignment. Typical projects require 12-20 hours per month, with some locations needing service in the first two weeks of each month.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail preferred.
• Ability to read planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
