Job summary

Winston Retail in La Grande, OR is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser to support stores with ongoing merchandising and project-based initiatives. This independent contractor role offers a flexible schedule, varying hours, and a competitive hourly rate.

You will stock, merchandise, ensure planogram compliance, complete field reports with photos using mobile reporting tools, and build strong relationships with store teams. Prior retail or merchandising experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout retail environments.
• Planogram experience is a plus.
• Experience in retail, merchandising, or consumer packaged goods preferred.
• Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards and in-store presentation.
• Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotional initiatives with precision.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and associates.
• Ensure planogram compliance and maintain product placement standards.
• Complete store visit reports with photos and detailed feedback using mobile reporting tools.
• Communicate opportunities, challenges, and project updates.
• Manage schedules and store visits to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Maintain high quality, professionalism, and accountability across assignments.
• Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives as needed.
