Job summary

NOFS (Northern Ohio Field Services) is seeking an experienced Mortgage Inspector to join our team in Pittsburg, PA. As a Mortgage Inspector, you will conduct inspections on residential properties to ensure occupancy status and deliver delinquency letters, with a focus on accuracy and independence.

This contractor position offers compensation on a per-inspection basis, with an hourly equivalent of $25–$35. You can set your own schedule and work autonomously as a contractor.

Qualifications

• 6 months in the inspections field or working as a 1099 employee.
• Must pass background check to obtain Aspen Grove number.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to properties.
• Experience with default mortgage inspections is a plus.
• Experience with InspectorADE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential property inspections to verify occupancy status.
• Document findings using inspection software and tools.
• Take photos and deliver documents as needed.
• Complete inspections within designated timelines and meet performance metrics.
• Communicate with account manager in a professional manner.
• Keep up to date with industry regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspections.
• Travel to properties in Pittsburg, PA and surrounding counties.
