Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an independent research program aligned with departmental priorities.
• Secure and manage extramural funding from federal, foundation, industry, or other sources.
• Publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research and present findings at conferences.
• Collaborate with clinical and translational researchers to advance discovery.
• Mentor graduate students, postdocs, residents, and junior faculty.
• Participate in seminars, research meetings, and academic service activities.
• Contribute to grant review panels and institutional committees.
• Ensure compliance with regulations related to research conduct and human/animal subjects.
