Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD doctoral degree.
• Demonstrated record of peer-reviewed publications.
• Evidence of research productivity and potential for or history of obtaining external funding.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary academic medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an independent research program aligned with departmental priorities.
• Secure and manage extramural funding through federal, foundation, industry, or other sources.
• Publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research and present findings at conferences.
• Collaborate with clinical and translational researchers to advance behavioral/psychological discovery.
• Mentor graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, residents, and junior faculty.
