Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking a research fellow to conduct independent and collaborative investigations under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, contributing to new knowledge and innovative solutions.

The fellow will work with a team of researchers, mentor students, and assist in grant proposals and progress reporting while disseminating findings through journals and conferences.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in a related field is required.
• Experience with research techniques, methods, or areas related to the project.
• Proficient analytical skills and ability to use statistical software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute research projects aligned with department goals.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data using statistical methods and tools.
• Conduct literature reviews to inform methodologies.
• Prepare and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students and collaborate with faculty and researchers.
• Assist in preparation of grant proposals and funding applications.
• Prepare periodic progress reports and summaries.
