Job summary

Achieve Behavior Alliance Plus is seeking a Recreational Therapist to provide individualized therapeutic services in home and community settings primarily in Indiana. As an independent contractor, you'll engage clients with developmental disabilities through recreational activities that promote skill development and independence.

The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation and possess a CTRS certification. Responsibilities include client assessments, treatment plan development, and documentation of services according to Medicaid regulations.

Qualifications

• CPR & First Aid Certificate required.
• Negative TB test prior to providing services.
• Clean background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual recreational therapy to clients.
• Assess client needs and develop treatment plans.
• Document therapy notes in accordance with Medicaid requirements.

Skills

Experience working with individuals with disabilities

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently

Education

Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) credential
