A healthcare service provider is seeking a Recreational Therapist to operate as an Independent Contractor, providing individualized therapeutic services to individuals with disabilities. The role involves creating treatment plans, assessing client needs, and delivering therapy sessions in various community settings. Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Therapeutic Recreation, hold a CTRS certification, and have reliable transportation. This position offers flexibility and requires the ability to work independently while supporting clients in achieving their personal goals.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation to clients' locations.
• Must not be excluded from federal healthcare programs.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one on one recreational therapy to individuals.
• Develop treatment plans based on standardized assessments.
• Encourage client participation in community settings.

Conocimientos

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and with a team

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
