Job summary

Fleet Data Centers seeks a Quality Control Director to lead the owner-side quality organization across a portfolio of hyperscale data center campuses. You will set quality standards, systems, and inspection frameworks, and lead Site Quality Managers to ensure conformance to design and codes while working alongside the Commissioning team for integrated assurance.

You will report to the VP, Construction and drive independent verification, nonconformance/ corrective actions, and turnover readiness,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical quality leadership experience.
• 15+ years of construction quality experience on large-scale, mission-critical or hyperscale projects.
• Experience leading a distributed site-based quality staff and maintaining an independent voice in a matrix organization.
• Procore (or equivalent) proficiency and experience with quality/inspection systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Site Quality Managers and the owner-side quality function across the portfolio.
• Establish and own Fleet’s construction quality management system, plans, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Commissioning to ensure both QA/QC and commissioning deliver safe, reliable assets.
• Provide portfolio-level quality metrics, trends, risks, and assurance to senior leadership.
• Maintain independence of the quality function from construction delivery to preserve objectivity.
