Job summary

VNA Care is seeking Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistants to cover home health visits in the Franklin, Foxboro and Sharon area. The PTA will work independently to provide therapeutic care that restores, promotes or maintains function and minimizes disability.

Education requirements include an Associate's degree in physical therapy and Massachusetts licensure. One year in an acute care setting is preferred; Home Health experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
• 1 year in acute care setting or comparable work experience.
• Home Health experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic care to patients and families that focuses on restoring, promoting or maintaining function and minimizing the effects of illness or disability.
