Job summary

ProVest is seeking experienced Process Servers to provide reliable civil process service in Scranton, PA and surrounding areas. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with weekly pay based on completed jobs.

Ideal candidates include licensed private investigators or current/former law enforcement professionals, with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and a smartphone to run ProVest’s mobile apps.

Qualifications

• Experience as a process server delivering documents.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make diligent service attempts (up to 3 attempts at varied times: morning, evening, weekend).
• Activate cases within 24 hours of receiving documents (via FedEx or email).
• Sign and notarize eligible affidavits within 48 hours of service completion.
• Upload photo evidence, submit detailed attempt notes, and record service outcomes using ProVest mobile apps.
