Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to provide independent pharmacy support and operational leadership within a non-compounding, closed-door setting.

You will manage prescription processing, labeling, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with healthcare providers and partners across state lines. A focus on accuracy, communication, and workflow efficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in home state.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under volume constraints and resolve customer issues creatively.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical products and pharmacy management software.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Obtain valid prescription information from licensed veterinarians or agents before dispensing.
• Initiate and receive calls and faxes for medication orders; clarify instructions as needed.
• Dispense medications accurately per prescriptions; prepare medications per standards.
• Ensure proper labeling, timely delivery, and safe handling of medications.
• Respond to inquiries from healthcare providers and end-users about medication usage.
• Maintain detailed records of dispensed drugs and prescriptions; prepare required reports.
• Store drug products under appropriate conditions and uphold high customer service standards.
• Perform cross-training in pharmacy operations, including inventory management and prescription processing.
• Support multi-state operations by maintaining active pharmacist licenses as required.
• Assist with related duties, ensuring compliance with policies.
