Job summary

The Comforted Kitty in Orlando, FL area is seeking reliable, responsible pet lovers to provide in-home dog or cat sitting visits and dog walking when clients are away. This flexible, part-time independent contractor position lets you set your availability and service area, matching you with local clients who value trust and peaceful travel.

You’ll perform visits that include feeding, water, waste cleanup, playtime or companionship per pet's personality, and updates with photos through our app.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for dogs and cats in a pet-sitting capacity.
• Ability to handle dogs from small to large breeds.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent written communication.
• Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes.
• Own smartphone with reliable internet and camera.
• Experience administering medications as needed.
• Available on weekends, holidays, mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home pet visits including feeding and water refresh.
• Clean up pet waste and monitor litter/areas.
• Give playtime and companionship per pet's personality.
• Send visit updates and photos via our app.
• Follow client care instructions and medication administration if needed.
• Bring in mail or packages and adjust home environment as requested.
• Manage care during client's travel with weekend/holiday availability.
