Job summary

Aquatic Vegetation Control, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Applicator to perform vegetation management across Palm Beach County. The role offers full-time hours with starting pay at $18 per hour, based on experience.

Training is provided and you’ll help protect Florida’s lakes, wetlands and conservation lands. No prior vegetation management experience is required; we provide paid training and support you in obtaining a Florida pesticide applicator license.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to perform outdoors in Florida heat, humidity and standing water.
• Commitment to safety and following environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform herbicide applications to control invasive vegetation safely.
• Operate company trucks, boats, trailers, and application equipment.
• Inspect and maintain equipment daily.
• Maintain accurate application records and daily reports.
• Follow environmental regulations and company policies.
• Protect Florida waterways, wetlands and conservation lands.
