Position Summary:

As an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside Walmart stores, you will play a leading role in eye and vision care, as well as general health and well-being.

Your autonomy includes:

• Establishing your days and hours of practice
• Controlling your patient schedule
• Setting your fee schedule
• Keeping 100% of exam/professional fees

You can also opt into equipment/instrumentation and administrative support services, if permitted by your state.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited school
• Valid state optometry license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school
• Valid state ophthalmology license

Additional requirements include general liability and professional liability insurance certificates, and a W-9 form.
