Job summary

Walmart is seeking an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside our Walmart stores to lead patient care in eye and vision health as well as general well-being.

As an independent lease holder, you will establish your days of practice, set your hours of operation, control your patient schedule, and keep 100% of exam and professional fees. You may opt into equipment/instrumentation and optional administrative support where state law allows.

Qualifications

• OD from an accredited optometry school
• Valid state optometry license
• Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school
• Valid state ophthalmology license
• General Liability Certificate
• Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
• W-9

Responsibilities

• Lead patient care in eye and vision health within Walmart stores
• Establish your days of practice and hours of operation
• Control your patient schedule and set your fee schedule
• Keep 100% of exam/professional fees
• Optionally arrange equipment/instrumentation and administrative support where allowed by state law
