Walmart Inc. in El Paso, TX invites an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside our Walmart stores to deliver eye and vision care with the autonomy to run your own practice within the store.

You will set your days and hours, manage your patient schedule, and keep 100% of exam and professional fees. Optional access to equipment and admin support may apply where state law allows. This is not an employment position with Walmart.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry OD from an accredited optometry school.
• Valid state optometry license.
• Ophthalmologist MD or DO from an accredited school; valid state ophthalmology license.
• General Liability Certificate; Professional Liability Insurance Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Launch optometry services in Walmart stores and lead patient care.
• Establish your days of practice and hours of operation.
• Control your patient schedule and set your fee schedule.
• Keep 100% of exam and professional fees; opt into equipment/administrative support where allowed.

Education

Doctor of Optometry OD from an accredited optometry school
