Job summary

Sam’s East, Inc. is seeking an Independent Optometrist to lease space inside our Sam’s Club in Austin, TX. You will lead eye and vision care with autonomy over your practice, days, hours, patient scheduling, and fee schedules.

As a lease holder you keep 100% of exam fees and may opt into equipment and support services where allowed. You must hold a Doctor of Optometry, valid state licenses for optometry and, if applicable, ophthalmology licenses, plus liability and tax documentation.

Qualifications

• OD degree and valid state optometry license required.
• Ophthalmologist license (MD/DO) and ophthalmology license where applicable.
• Liability insurance certificates and W-9 documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Establish days of practice and hours of operation.
• Control patient schedule and marketing within the lease.
• Set fee schedule and manage professional fees.
• Keep 100% of exam and professional fees as leaseholder.
