Job summary

Sam's East, Inc. is seeking an Independent Optometrist to lease space inside Sam's Club locations. You will lead eye and vision care with a focus on patient health, while managing your own schedule and fee structure.

You determine your practice days, hours, and fee schedule, retaining 100% of exam/professional fees. Optional access to advanced equipment and admin/tech support may be available where allowed by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry OD from an accredited optometry school.
• Valid state optometry license.
• Ophthalmologist MD or DO from an accredited school.
• Valid state ophthalmology license.
• General Liability Certificate/Professional Liability Insurance Certificate.
• ME/VA license agreements are with Gumberg Asset Management Company

Responsibilities

• Launch services in Sam's Club as an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside our stores.
• Take a leading role in patient care with respect to eye and vision care as well as general health and wellbeing.
• Establish your days of practice and hours of operation; control your patient schedule; Set your fee schedule; Keep 100% of exam/professional fees.
• Optional enhancements: Advanced Equipment/instrumentation and/or Administrative/Opt-Tech support if state allows

Education

Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school

Ophthalmologist MD/DO from an accredited school

Valid state optometry license

Valid state ophthalmology license
