Job summary

The Christ Hospital is seeking an MRI technologist to operate MRI scanners and obtain diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. You will work with minimal supervision to ensure quality images and patient safety.

Responsibilities include patient screening, explaining procedures, positioning, and maintaining PACS documentation. A minimum of 2 years of related experience and ARRT MR certification are preferred, with Ohio license beneficial.

Qualifications

• Education: ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology School required.
• Years of experience: Minimum 2 years related experience preferred.
• Licenses & certifications: ARRT(MR) certification or ARRT graduate; Ohio Radiologic License preferred; CPR preferred.
• Knowledge & skills: Medical terminology; isolation and sterile techniques; patient positioning and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to obtain diagnostic images per protocol.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions to assure understanding.
• Position patients and archive procedures according to protocol, ensuring quality control.
• Verify MD orders for accuracy and document procedures.
• Assist other modalities and maintain safety and equipment.
