Job summary

Underwriter Services Association is seeking an experienced Commercial & Residential Loss Control Consultant to join as an approved vendor. You will conduct interior and/or exterior inspections in your area, with reports filed through a cloud system. This contract-based role pays per inspection, with weekly payments after satisfactory completion.

No licensing required. You must provide your own equipment, transport, and be available for on-site visits.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year of interior/exterior residential loss control surveys and 3–5 years in commercial loss control.
• Ability to meet hard due dates with minimal supervision.
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and high-speed internet.
• Detail oriented, organized, and flexible schedule.
• Reliable car with territory coverage if required.
• Camera, internet access and measuring tools available.

Responsibilities

• Set inspection appointments via email or phone.
• Conduct physical loss control inspections as required.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify hazards/controls and document findings.
• Complete on-site interviews and upload reports/photos on time.
• Follow client guidelines and communicate with agents and insureds.
• Provide high quality and professional services.
