Job summary

PathPoint is seeking part-time Direct Support Professionals to join the Independent Living Services team in Thousand Oaks, CA. You will help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities learn independent living skills in their homes, such as cooking, budgeting and health routines.

The role offers a part-time schedule (20–25 hours weekly) with shifts that may include weekends. Compensation starts at $23.25 per hour, with a pay range of $22.09-$24.41 and benefits noted for full-time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Patience, compassion and the ability to interact positively with people with disabilities, their families and professionals.
• Valid California driver's license with a satisfactory record and 5 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Work independently one-on-one with individuals in their homes.
• Share personal hobbies when aligned with the person's goals and interests.
• Document hours of service and progress toward goals.
• Maintain flexible scheduling including day, evening and weekend shifts.
