Job summary

PathPoint is hiring full-time Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ventura County’s Integrated Work Program (IWK). You’ll help individuals strengthen workplace abilities, life skills, and relationships in a supportive community setting.

No prior experience is required; just a willingness to learn. You will work with a small group, transport to sites, and coach daily living skills to promote independence and confidence.

Qualifications

• No experience required; willingness to learn.
• Patience, compassion, and positivity.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Criminal record clearance, TB screening, and health screening required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance eligibility for PathPoint’s policy

Responsibilities

• Work with a small group of individuals (typically 3-4) in a community-based setting.
• Transport and accompany the group to job sites, volunteer placements, and community outings.
• Provide hands-on coaching as individuals build vocational life skills.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive social interactions.
• Facilitate structured activities focused on employment readiness and daily living skills.
• Complete end-of-day documentation and progress notes.
