Job summary

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a Residential Counselor to support individuals in daily living and community participation in Massachusetts. You will help implement person-centered plans, assist with transportation, and promote skills for greater independence in residential and community settings.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with a compassionate, trauma-informed team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized, person-centered service and support plans and assist in implementing them.
• Provide daily living support, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with transportation and community resources as needed.
• Promote community inclusion, relationship building, and valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment and complete documentation accurately and timely.
