Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy, part of Trinity Health, is hiring a Residential Support Specialist to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independent lives. You will provide personalized care, assist with daily activities, and monitor well-being within a supportive, team-based environment.

Responsibilities include implementing care plans, promoting community participation, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, person-centered care aligned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive an organization vehicle.
• Access to transportation for local travel.
• Possess required clearances and pass pre-employment drug screen, health screening.
• MUST complete Department of Public Welfare Medication Training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care and develop care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Implement behavioral support plans with the team.
• Facilitate community engagement through recreational activities and events.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and communicate progress.
