Community Bridges, Inc. seeks an Independent Living Specialist to work with SMI clients in homes or in the field to build independent living skills such as budgeting, transportation, and self-care.

The role is field‑based about 80% of the time, with after‑hours and on‑call supports as needed. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (associates preferred), 1 year of SMI experience, recovery‑oriented approach, and CPRP certification within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with the SMI population.
• Experience in outreach and engagement activities preferred.
• BHT certification and CPRP within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Work with SMI clients in homes or in the field to develop independent living skills.
• Maintain field presence at least 80% of the time and provide after hours/on‑call support.
