Job summary

JusticeWorks YouthCare is seeking a Part-Time Independent Living Specialist to support youth in developing life skills needed for independent living and successful transition into adulthood.

You will provide one-on-one mentoring and coaching in budgeting, employment readiness, daily living, education planning, and accessing community resources, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. JusticeWorks operates as an ESOP, giving you ownership and a meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass applicable clearances.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one mentoring and life skills coaching to youth
• Support youth in building independent living skills such as budgeting, employment readiness, and daily living
• Assist youth with education planning, career exploration, and job readiness
• Provide guidance on financial literacy and budgeting
• Help youth access community resources including housing, education, and employment services
• Assist youth in obtaining items through the stipend incentive program

Schedule: Part Time (Some evenings and weekends required)

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
