Job summary

Amor Coordination Services, Inc. seeks an Independent Living Skills Trainer (ILST) to help clients live independently at home and in the community.

The ILST will work on ADLs/IADLs, medication management, communication, and home organization, providing transportation to appointments and supporting pre-vocational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with ADLs/IADLs and self-care training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to coordinate transportation and community activities.

Independent Living Skills Trainer (ILST) are individuals who improve or maintain the participant to live independently as possible in their home and community. The ILST works with each client on recovering skills that have decreased because of onset disabilities of progressive illness to maintain essential skills within the clients home and community.
