Job summary

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a Residential Counselor to support individuals in achieving greater independence and quality of life by providing direct care, guidance, and skill-building within residential and community-based settings.

You will help with daily living activities, community participation, and personal goal attainment while maintaining a safe, healthy environment and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service and support plans and implement them.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, personal growth, and the development of valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes health, safety, and well-being.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation accurately and timely.
