College Living Experience of San Diego LLC in San Diego, CA, is seeking an ILS Instructor/Life Skills Coach for our Young Adult Transition Program. This part-time position offers 20-25 hours weekly and pays $18–$23 per hour.

The role is in-person to support students in developing practical daily living skills. The Independent Living Skills Instructor will assess student functioning and deliver direct instruction across health, safety, hygiene, meal planning, money management, housekeeping, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• Two years of experience working with neurodiverse individuals or young adults preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build supportive relationships while encouraging student independence.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent living skills instruction tailored to student needs.
• Lead small groups and cooking classes for meal planning and safety.
• Document instructional sessions and student progress in CLE systems.
• Collaborate with ILS team and attend staff meetings.
• Support medication organization and safety education.
