Job summary

Collage Rehabilitation Partners in Denver is seeking a Life Skills Trainer to support clients in daily living, rehabilitation goals, and vocational activities under supervision. You will provide variable levels of assistance and monitor progress to promote independence.

This role requires teamwork with the treatment staff, strong documentation habits, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules while maintaining a safe, respectful, and confidential environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field is preferred; minimum of high school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
• Possession of a valid driver's license, insurance, and an acceptable driving record must be maintained at all times.
• Competence in writing, planning, organization and documentation, as well as time management skills are required.
• The ability to communicate effectively with families, professionals, clients, and co-workers is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assists, guides, and encourages independence in activities of daily living and rehabilitation goals.
• Advocates for client needs through consistent communication with the treatment team.
• Interacts respectfully with clients, families, and staff in professional settings.
• Completes documentation to assure compliance with state/federal regulations and CARF standards.
