Job summary

FRIENDS of Broomfield seeks an Independent Living Residential Program Manager to oversee and enhance residential services for adults with developmental disabilities living independently or in supported settings. You will lead program operations, develop individualized plans, coach staff, and ensure regulatory compliance to promote independence and quality of life.

The role involves coordinating with a residential director, maintaining records in Therap, and working a schedule that may include

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or a related field; 5+ years of relevant experience; First Aid/CPR certification required (or ability to obtain); Safety Cares certification required; Qualified Medication Administration Personnel required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of residential services for adults living independently.
• Ensure services are person-centered and aligned with each individual’s service plan and goals.
• Monitor and support safe, respectful, healthy living environments.
• Coordinate services across Host Homes, Family Caregivers, and independent living settings.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, regulations, and licensing.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and program documentation.
• Provide hands-on coaching and modeling to staff and participants.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule residential staff.
• Conduct regular home visits to ensure safety and quality of services.
• Maintain regular communication with families, case managers, therapists, and professionals.
