Job summary

Dungarvin Minnesota seeks part-time Direct Support Professionals to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live independently. A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel are required.

You will assist with daily living activities, transportation, and skill development in a 1:1 setting, working across in-home and community environments. Mileage reimbursement is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (21 depending on person-served).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, auto liability insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate degree in a relevant field or two years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in 1:1 in-home and in-community settings to promote independence.
• Support daily activities like personal care, meal prep, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Maintain a clean, safe space and help individuals reach personal goals.
• Provide skill development in areas such as community participation, health, safety and wellness, and household management.
• Attend team meetings, write progress reports, and support supervision in service provision.
