Qualifications

• Not been convicted of any felony under the laws of Illinois or any other state, or the United States.
• A baccalaureate degree from an institution of higher education.
• 5 or more years of cumulative service with a federal, State, or local law enforcement agency (or related roles) as described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Investigate allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement, misconduct, nonfeasance, misfeasance, malfeasance, or violations of the State Officials and Employees Ethics Act or related laws and rules.
• Oversee jurisdiction concerning current/former General Assembly members and current/former state employees within the legislative branch.
