Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to build and manage an independent agency focused on educator clients. You’ll leverage a dedicated service representative, exclusive territory, and cutting‑edge tools to grow your insurance and financial solutions.

You should bring 2–5 years in insurance/financial services, valid Life/Health and Property/Casualty licenses, and the ability to pursue FINRA Series 6 & 63 if required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance/financial services industry (preferred).
• Life and Health Insurance License.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).

Responsibilities

• Identify and build an exclusive agency network for educators' insurance needs.
• Present products to groups and individuals to drive sales.
• Develop market access and relationships through networking and community events.
• Manage client service work with support from a dedicated service representative.
• Grow an independent agency with Horace Mann’s multiline product portfolio.
