Job summary

Superior Contracting & Maintenance is hiring EPA-certified, insured HVAC technicians on a 1099 basis to manage residential service calls and installations. This is direct work from our portfolio partners with no fees, no lead chasing, and no upselling.

Ideal for part-time technicians or independent contractors seeking flexible, steady maintenance and installation jobs. Must have EPA certification, liability insurance, own truck/tools, a valid license, and be able to use our mobile portal.

Qualifications

• EPA certification required by refrigerant regulations.
• Active general liability insurance required.
• Must own a truck, van or SUV and have your own tools.
• Ability to navigate mobile job portals and communicate clearly.
• Must complete onboarding call and training prior to assignments.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems (split systems, heat pumps, mini-splits).
• Complete first-trip service calls within Not-to-Exceed budgets (avg $150–$350).
• Submit estimates for more complex or multi-visit repairs.
• Perform full system replacements and installations (labor pay $1,200–$1,800).
• Communicate with dispatch and provide updates via mobile portal.
• All materials are purchased by Superior.
