Job summary

Superior Contracting & Maintenance is seeking experienced, insured 1099 HVAC technicians for residential service calls and installation projects. This is a direct-work opportunity with steady assignments through our network.

Part-time technicians can supplement their workload with flexible residential projects across multiple states. Qualified applicants must have EPA certification, active COI insurance, their own vehicle, and HVAC tools.

Qualifications

• Current EPA Certification, required for refrigerant regulations.
• Active General Liability Insurance (COI required).
• Own truck, van, or SUV and necessary HVAC tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems, including split systems, heat pumps, mini-splits, and similar equipment.
• Complete first-trip service calls within Not-to-Exceed budgets, typically averaging $150–$350.
• Provide estimates for repairs requiring additional visits or more extensive work.
• Perform complete HVAC system replacements and installations, with labor compensation ranging from $1,200–$1,800 depending on project scope and location.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and provide job updates through the mobile service portal.
