Job summary

Liberty Nursing Agency Inc is seeking a dedicated Home Infusion Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered infusion therapy in patients' homes across New Jersey. This role suits an independent nurse who values compassionate care and flexible scheduling while coordinating with physicians and care teams.

The ideal candidate holds an active NJ RN license with 1–2 years of infusion or home health experience, strong assessment skills, and the ability to educate patients and families on infusion

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NJ.
• 1–2 years infusion/home health nursing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion (Port and PICC experience a plus, will train).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for home visits.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible patient schedule.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV infusion therapies including antibiotics, hydration, IVIG and specialty medications in patients' homes.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to infusion treatments and report changes in condition.
• Insert, maintain, and troubleshoot peripheral and central venous access devices (PICC lines, ports, central lines).
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medication management, and home care protocols.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and agency standards.
• Manage infusion supplies for each patient visit.
