Job summary

AOM Infusion is seeking an experienced Infusion Nurse to join as an Independent Contractor, delivering home and specialty infusion therapy with a patient-centered approach. The role involves direct nursing care, education of patients and families, and coordination with in-house RN staff to implement treatment plans.

Responsibilities include assessments, IV access management, documentation, and adherence to HIPAA and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed and registered as a registered nurse in the States where practicing.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in home infusion.
• Pediatric experience preferred in home infusion settings or ability to obtain pediatric competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per the physician orders and plan of treatment.
• Coordinate with in-house RN staff on patient care plans.
• Assess, document, and respond to patient needs and changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families on health care needs and therapies.
• Maintain and manage IV access devices and infusion pumps.
• Complete charting and documentation per policy.
• Adhere to infection control and HIPAA guidelines.
• Communicate adverse events and unusual occurrences to supervisors.
