Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to provide patient-centered care in Greeneville, TN. This PRN role offers independent work with team support and opportunities for advancement within a growing organization.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating speech and language disorders, teaching communication strategies, and documenting patient progress in accordance with agency policy.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the practicing state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate speech or language difficulties and determine therapy needs.
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve voice quality.
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, for those with limited speech.
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in therapeutic exercises.
• Document progress and submit visit documentation per Agency policy.
