Job summary

Varco Home Health seeks a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes across Austin, TX. You’ll work under a supervising PT to help patients improve mobility and independence with personalized exercises and safety guidance.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license is required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
