Job summary

Varco Home Health in San Antonio, TX seeks a PTA for a PRN, home-based therapy role, delivering one-on-one treatments in patients’ homes. This position offers a flexible schedule tailored to the caregiver and patient needs.

You will work under a supervising Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility and independence, document visits, and coordinate care with family members. A Texas PTA license is required, with home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license is required.
• Home health experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
