Job summary

Geisinger LIFE Geisinger Minersville requires a compassionate aide to provide personal care and homemaker services to participants in the Adult Day Health Center and in-home visits, supporting independent living.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year related work experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of hire.
• CPR Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care, nutrition and hydration support, vital signs, ambulation assistance, ROM exercises, and incontinence care.
• Assist with light homemaking, laundry, and supply delivery as needed.
• May participate in after-hours on-call home care coverage.
• Maintain safety using proper body mechanics and equipment.
• Document services accurately per program policy.
• Communicate effectively with participants and team members; offer choices to promote independence.
