Job summary

First Command is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Advisor in Grand Forks, ND to guide military families toward lasting financial security. This independent contractor role focuses on growing a practice through high-touch, client-centered planning.

You will deliver advanced wealth planning, integrate investments, retirement, tax strategies, and estate considerations, and build durable relationships within the military community. Must have Series 7/66 and Life/Health licenses.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services and a proven ability to build and retain client relationships.
• Portfolio and wealth management experience with integration into long-term planning.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for long-term client engagement.
• The drive to run an independent business with flexible hours and commission-based income.
• Military experience or affiliation is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor, identifying and adapting to evolving client goals across accumulation, preservation, and legacy.
