Job summary

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Field Technician for our Orlando, FL office. The role involves soils and concrete field testing at construction sites across Central Florida, with occasional night and weekend work.

A company vehicle is provided; starting pay is $18 per hour, depending on experience and certifications. Candidate must be at least 18, able to work outdoors in heat, lift up to 50 lbs, and travel to remote sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in soils and/or concrete field testing.
• Able to walk on slopes and uneven terrain.
• Work outdoors in heat for 10–12 hours daily.
• Lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel and work at remote sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform soils and concrete field testing at construction sites.
• Inspect materials according to project specifications.
• Document data and report test results accurately.
• Travel to Central Florida sites as required.
