Job summary

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. in Orlando is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to perform soil and concrete testing at various sites across Central Florida. You will read construction plans and ensure field tests meet project specs.

The role may require night/weekend work, and there is potential for growth into a supervisory position. ACI Field Tech Level I certification is required, CTQP certification a plus, and a company vehicle is provided.

SENIOR ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Full-time position working out of Orlando Branch. Primarily responsible for soil and concrete testing at various commercial, residential and roadway construction sites throughout Central Florida. Candidates should have prior construction testing and inspection experience and be familiar with reading and interpreting construction plans and be ACI Field Tech Level I certified. CTQP and other related certifications a plus. There will be occasional night and weekend work. This position has the potential to grow into a supervisory role. Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old
• Ability to walk up and down slopes and/or on uneven terrain
• Ability to work outdoors in the heat/cold for up to 8 -12 hours per day
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours, as needed
• Excellent driving record within company standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superior customer service skills
• Must be able to pass background screening requirements including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing and physical exam
• Local candidates preferred; no relocation assistance.
