Job summary

Underwriter Services Association is in search of Residential Insurance Inspectors to conduct thorough inspections of homes and properties. The role requires capturing detailed photos and information as per client requirements.

This independent 1099 position allows for flexible income based on inspection work completed, with all necessary training provided. Ideal candidates must possess strong communication and organizational skills, together with the ability to use required tools effectively, including a PC and digital camera.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction/home improvement, inspections, real estate, or architecture preferred.
• Agree to a criminal background check and review of driving record.
• Basic computer literacy, data entry helpful.

Responsibilities

• Drive to residential/commercial properties.
• Identify and photograph potential hazards and basic photos.
• Record on-site observations.
• Accurate exterior measurements and sketch of the building.
• Complete inspections and reports within deadline.
• Speak directly with policyholders and/or agents when needed.

Job description

National Risk Services is looking for experienced Residential Insurance Inspectors to perform interior and/or exterior personal lines inspections requiring detailed photos and information collected as requested per client requirements.

This is an Independent 1099 Position. Orders are sent, and completed reports are returned through our FOCUS program.

Ideal applicants will have the physical ability and experience to adequately assess the property condition. Strong communication skills, good technology, organizational skills, and the ability to quickly turn around reports in a timely manner.

Required Tools

• PC/Laptop/Tablet running currently supported Windows platform 10 or 11 (full mode, not S mode) and 8GB of RAM or better.
• Our programs do NOT SUPPORT Apple Computers or Chrome Books.
• High-speed Internet connection.
• Android or iPhone (recommended) or Digital Camera.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Measuring wheel.
• Extendable camera stick.
