Signature Companies seeks experienced High Value Residential Insurance Inspectors in Greenville, SC for independent contractor work. You will perform on-site surveys, document features, capture measurements, and deliver underwriter-ready reports to high-net-worth carriers.

The role requires construction knowledge, sketching skills, and proficiency with tools like Rapid Sketch and Xactimate. Independent contractor status offers flexible local work and potential supplemental income.

Qualifications

• Direct experience as a High Value Residential Insurance Inspector
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and custom features
• Experience estimating replacement costs for high value residential properties
• Proficiency with diagramming software such as Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, CAD or similar tools
• Excellent communication skills when working with high-net-worth homeowners and insurance agents
• Strong time management and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with homeowners and insurance agents over phone, email and in person
• Schedule and conduct on-site inspections of high value properties per carrier guidelines
• Document construction features, finishes, and architectural elements
• Capture measurements, photos, and site observations
• Identify underwriting concerns and loss exposures and report findings
• Submit timely, carrier-compliant web reports via Loss Control 360
