Job summary

Signature Companies is seeking self-directed Field Consultants to conduct on-site high-value property surveys across Southern Vermont from a home office. You'll coordinate surveys, visit properties, take photos and measurements, and report findings to underwriters.

Ideal candidates have real estate, insurance adjusting, construction, or home appraisal experience, plus familiarity with CAD, Rapid Sketch, or Xactimate.

Qualifications

• Prior underwriting or inspection experience is desirable.
• Must have a smartphone, tablet, and personal computer.
• Late-model vehicle with Auto and General Liability Insurance.
• High-speed internet and 16mp camera or greater.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct on-site and virtual property surveys.
• Visit properties, take photos and measurements.
• Generate an estimated replacement value and identify major hazards.
• Communicate findings via loss control portal on Signature website.
• Interact with homeowners and insurance agents during surveys.
