Job summary

Signature Companies is seeking self-starting Field Consultants to perform on-site High Value Property Surveys in Central Vermont. You will work as an independent contractor, scheduling surveys around your own calendar and submitting reports through our loss control system.

This role offers flexibility, home-office setup, and the opportunity to build a local client base. Experience in real estate, insurance adjusting, construction, or home appraisal is a plus.

Qualifications

• Real estate, insurance adjusting, construction or home appraisals experience is a plus.
• Experience with CAD, Rapid Sketch, Xactimate or similar diagramming tools is helpful.
• BA or BS degree is desired but not required.
• Must have a smartphone, tablet, and personal computer.
• A late-model vehicle and Auto and General Liability Insurance are required.
• High speed internet, Digital Camera, or smartphone with 16mp camera or greater, measuring devices such as laser or measuring wheel.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct on-site High Value Property Surveys within your own calendar.
• Visit properties, take photos and measurements, and note issues for underwriters.
• Generate an estimated replacement value and identify major hazards.
• Communicate information gathered during on-site inspection via loss control 360 on Signature’s system.
